An Overview of Perudo Rules
Perudo, also known as Liar’s Dice in certain circles, is a dice game, where the object is to be the last player left with one or more dice. According to Perudo rules, the game is played in rounds, with each player having a cup and five dice, which they shake in turn and flip over onto a flat surface. Only the player may see his or her own dice. In each round, the players, in turn, bid until one of the players says “I doubt” (aka ‘dudo’ in Spanish) which indicates that he or she does not agree with the previous bid.
Perudo rules indicate that the first bid is placed by player 1, which is based on the quantity of any given number, if all players would, at that point, show their dice. This is where bluffing comes in as players don’t actually know what numbers the other players have under their cups — they are only aware of their own. Thereafter, player 2 either raises the bid or says ‘dudo’. Passing is not an option.
There are specific Perudo rules pertaining to the aces in the game. Players also need to take special note of scoring in Perudo. In general, a player who loses all his or her dice is out of the game. Palafico rules (pertaining to the player who loses his fourth dice) are also special rules that are applied in Perudo and, despite similarities to online poker, Perudo is a unique online casino game that may be played a number of ways. The last player who is left with one of more dice wins the game of Perudo.
